1. Who you are contracting with

BuyWise (“the Service”) is provided by BuyWise (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you use BuyWise on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

2. What BuyWise does

BuyWise analyses products using AI and publicly available information and returns a score, a buy/wait/skip verdict, timing guidance, deep-dive detail on materials, ingredients, specifications and certifications, and suggested alternatives.

3. Accuracy and no professional advice

AI outputs may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. Prices, availability, certifications and ingredient data change frequently. BuyWise output is general information only — it is not financial, medical, legal, safety or investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell. You are responsible for verifying anything important before purchasing.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • break the law, commit fraud, or send spam;
  • infringe intellectual property or other rights;
  • upload unlawful, harmful or infringing images or content;
  • interfere with security — no malware, probing, scraping, automated bulk querying, or circumventing usage limits;
  • reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs at scale.

You are responsible for the content you submit (including product photos and links), for having the rights to submit it, and for how you use the results. Rights holders can contact us to request removal of content; repeat infringement leads to account termination. We may remove content, filter outputs, or suspend accounts to enforce these rules.

5. Accounts

Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

6. Intellectual property and licence

We retain all rights in the Service, its software, models, prompts, design and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in line with your plan. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to provide the Service.

7. Plans, fair use and payment

The Free plan includes 5 analyses per month. Paid plans (Plus monthly, Annual, and Lifetime) include unlimited analyses subject to a fair-use ceiling of 150 analyses per month, which protects service quality and prevents abuse of AI-intensive features.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.

8. Service level

We work to keep BuyWise available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination your access ends; you may request an export of your saved analyses within 30 days, after which data may be deleted.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

11. Indemnity, law and changes

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the seller’s jurisdiction, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post the new version here.
